2021 Photo Competition Results!

Over the past few weeks, close to 250 people sent in their best theme park related photos. We selected 10 of our favourites and handed it over to you to select the winning photo. More than 400 of you voted to crown this year’s winner.

We can’t thank you all enough for taking part in this competition, whether you entered a photo or voted for your favourite!

The results are in!

Without further ado, here’s the ranking of this year’s top 10 photos.

Herman’s fantastic photo of Red Force at Ferrari Land took the 10th spot. The timing of this photo is impeccable!

 
 
 

In 9th place is Marcus’ photo of the new for 2021 roller coaster Storm Chaser, located at Paultons Park. Marcus captured the new ride and the new areas’ entrance sign perfectly!

 

This photo of Monster at Gröna Lund, another new for 2021 roller coaster, came in 8th place. Fredrik’s photo really shows off the amazing setting this ride is in!

 

In 7th place is Paul’s photo of Taron at Phantasialand. This photo captures everything this striking roller coaster is about!

 

Zach’s incredibly picturesque shot of Twister at Knoebels takes the 6th spot. The colours and setting make for one fantastic photo!

 

In at number 5 is this photo of Kings Island’s newest roller coaster, Orion. Taken by Vejas the colours of the magnificently blue roller coaster really pop!

 

Bob’s photo of Wildfire at Silver Dollar City takes the 4th spot. The sunset in the background provides the perfect backdrop to this already beautiful roller coaster!

 
 
 

At number 3 is Ethan’s photo of Mako at SeaWorld Orlando. The framing of this photo really shows off Mako’s fantastic layout!

 

Sean’s photo of VelociCoaster, the latest ride coming to Universals Island of Adventure, takes the 2nd spot. This long exposure shot leaves a beautiful blue trail of light from the trains as they navigate the track!

 

In at number 1 is Samuel’s fantastic photo of Thunderhead at Dollywood - congratulations! The misty forest setting really helps the first drop of Dollywood’s awesome wooden roller coaster stand out. What a deserving winner!

The calibre of entries was incredible this year. Hopefully 2021 will allow everyone to get out there and take more photos of rides and roller coasters compared to last year!
