It's time to celebrate!
On the 19th July 2015 I created the YouTube channel Coaster Bot and now, 5 years later, we’re coming up to an important milestone! The channel has been a big part of our lives for what seems like ages now. It’s evolved, improved, and transformed over time into much more than just a Youtube channel; we’ve gradually introduced new elements like the website, blog and podcast as the channel grew. Over the years, more and more people have been watching our videos and subscribing to our channel. So much so that we’re also coming up on a second very exciting milestone: 50,000 YouTube Subscribers!
Let’s celebrate!
We’re so happy to be reaching these two huge milestones and are so grateful for everyone’s support over the last 5 years. That’s why, as part of our celebrations, we want to try and give a little something back to you guys and do something extra special to commemorate these fantastic milestones. After all, you guys are the ones who have allowed our channel to grow and thrive - so you guys should also be celebrated! That’s why we’re planning two awesome celebratory events: a special video featuring all you and yet another long live stream!
A video featuring you
Coaster Bot couldn’t have reached 5 years and 50K subscribers without you guys - is a real collective achievement and should be celebrated as such! So, we thought it would be a cool idea to make a video featuring you. The idea is that you can send in your videos for us to feature within a big milestone video. You might want to talk about things like: when you first subscribed to the channel or your favourite Coaster Bot video. Alternatively, you might want to recreate/relive a Coaster Bot related meme or funny moment you particularly enjoyed. The possibilities are endless! Your video can be serious, jokey, or something entirely in-between. We’ve actually made a video like this before, which I’ve linked at the bottom of this page. If you need any inspiration give it a watch!

The Live Stream
To celebrate with everyone on a more personal level we’ll also be hosting a live stream sometime around the channel’s 5th birthday (19th July). You can expect a relaxing stream where we answer your questions, chat about roller coasters and Coaster Bot, and perhaps even play some interactive games!
We’ll keep you up to date on our social media about the stream. Feel free to share ideas of what you’d like to see during the live stream in the comments of this blog post, or message us across our social media (you can find links at the bottom of this page)!
