the world’s largest annual roller coaster poll
Anyone can vote! Vote Coasters is a roller coaster poll for everyone, no matter how many roller coasters you've ridden.
Use the search box to find the roller coasters that you've ridden and drag them into your list. Remember to exclude 'the' in any searches, for example 'The Smiler' can be found by searching for 'Smiler'.
You can remove roller coasters from your list by clicking the 'trash' icon on the desktop portal, or by swiping left on the mobile portal.
Try to rank as many roller coasters as you've ridden! The more rides you rank, the better the results of the poll. Once you've ranked lots of rides individually it becomes more difficult to rank the more mediocre coasters. Try creating groups to rank larger quantities of rides. Groups allow you to batch rides together in a single spot or position in your list. For example, you could group 5 'good' roller coasters together, followed by another group of 5 'okay' roller coasters below.
Desktop: Click the emoty box icon to select a roller coaster. After selecting multiple, click the interlocked squares at the bottom of your screen. You can now also drag roller coasters in and out of your new group.
Mobile: Swipe right on a roller coaster to select it. After selecting multiple, click the interlocked squares at the bottom of your screen. You can now also drag roller coasters in and out of your new group.
Each side of a racing or duelling roller coaster is one credit. By searching for a racing ride you'll see that each side is denoted left or right, or by its colour or name.
To make the poll more accessible for everyone, we've decided to rank all types of roller coasters together. As a result you can't rank wooden/steel/hybrid roller coasters separately.
You can only include operating roller coasters in your list. You'll find that closed or defunct rides won't appear when searched for in the search box.
You can only rank roller coasters if you've ridden them in the current park they are in. Say one ride is relocated from Park X to Park Y. If you've ridden the ride in Park X, but not Park Y, you cannot rank it. You must have ridden a roller coaster in its current location to be able to rank that ride.
Vote Coasters doesn't allow you to rank alpine coasters, travelling roller coasters (except Olympia Looping), and butterfly coasters. If you've used the search function and can't find a roller coaster you've ridden (that isn't in one of these three groups), please email us at poll@coasterbot.com
