Your VERY controversial theme park opinions

Last month we asked you on our social media what your most controversial theme park opinion is and you really delivered. Some of your answers were so outrageous we decided we had to pick out our favourites for a blog post.

Enjoy this list of incredibly controversial opinions. Let us know which one makes you the most angry.

RMCs need more straight track.

Grand National isn’t as bad as people make it out to be.

Silver Star sucks and has no airtime. It's also rattly and should get replaced with a new hyper.

Fluch von Novgorod is better than Kärnan.

Kings Island’s coaster collection is average and no ride stands out as being amazing.

I think Hex is the best ride at Alton Towers.

B&M are the best manufacturer in the world, over RMC and Intamin.

Icon is better than Taron.

As a Californian, I think California Adventure was better when it was entirely California themed, and is better than Disneyland.

Theme and feel > ride quality.

Steel Vengeance is one of the most overrated RMCs there is.

Maurer spinners are the most underrated thrill.

Blackpool has a more complete lineup than Thorpe Park.

Despite their ride experience, I think RMC raptors are an eyesore.

Nemesis feels old and slightly rough.

Saw: The Ride is worse than an SLC.

Airtime is my least favourite element on a coaster.

SLC > Mack Wild mouse.

I prefer Revolution over the Big One.

Flamingo land is actually a good park.

Olympia Looping is the worst coaster I've been on. The restraints actually tried to kill me each time I rode it. Also, it's pretty boring.

Arrow rides are some of my favourites. Viper is awesome.

Rise of the Resistance is better than any coaster I’ve been on.

Hero isn’t that rough.

Wicker Man is average at best.

Vekoma is the best manufacturer.

Galactica is the best ride at Alton towers.

Djurs Sommerland is better than Liseberg.

Grand National is the best roller coaster in the UK.

Cedar Point should replace Magnum XL-200 with a B&M hyper.

Rita is better than Stealth.

I'd take a really good family coaster over a good but rough thrill coaster.

Infusion > Nemesis Inferno.

The only thing that makes Helix memorable is the music in the queue-line.

Vogel Rok is arguably the best coaster at Efteling.

Shambhala is overrated af.

Tokyo Disneyland is better than Tokyo Disney Sea.

TOGO standup > B&M standup.

El Toro is the most overrated coaster in the States.

I find most of the theming at Alton Towers depressing to the point where I'd rather go to a smaller family park with fewer rides.

Lost Gravity is better than Kärnan and Taron.

Walt Disney Studios at Disneyland Paris is an underrated park.

Let us know what your most controversial theme park opinion is in the comments.
