New Decade, New Coaster Bot?
Well this is it, the start of a new decade - seems like as great a time as any to introduce some changes to our YouTube channel and Coaster Bot as a whole. But don’t worry, it’s all good news!
Firstly, from now on, we have decided to give each new year a theme. This will help us aim towards one overall goal for the channel. We’ll be hoping to improve specific aspects of our content using the theme of each year. So to kick it off, we’re excited to announce that…
2020 is the year of collaboration!
But what does that mean?
Simply put we want to collaborate with more people, creators, theme parks and whoever; across all of our content. We’re always looking to try new things and the best way to do that is to work on exciting projects with other members of our community. We’ve got big ideas for video collabs on YouTube, plans for more people to be featured on our podcast and exciting new interviews to debut within our blog.
We have a lot of fantastic ideas in the works so far and the year has barely started. But to make this official, we are setting ourselves a goal:
Produce 4 collaborative videos with other theme park YouTubers in 2020!
When a new collaborative video is on the horizon we’ll post an updated version of the image above, revealing the name and logo of the channel we’re collaborating with!
Four videos is our goal, but it’s not the limit! We’re looking to collaborate with at least four YouTubers throughout the year and we can’t wait to get started on some exciting projects with other creators. We really want to get creative and come up with some unique new videos for you to watch!
What about the other content?
Naturally, we won’t forget about the other content that we upload regularly. Don’t worry, the year of the collaboration will not take away from the release of the usual Coaster Bot videos, posts and podcast episodes. We also have lots of exciting theme park visits planned too, which means brand new vlogs! This year we are planning to take a trip to the Efteling, Walibi Holland and Toverland; as well as a multi-day visit to PortAventura. 2020 is already looking great in terms of park visits and there might be even more to come throughout the year!
However, we’re always looking to take our usual content to the next level and how we do that in 2020 is completely open to discussion! Which makes now the perfect time to introduce our small anonymous questionnaire designed to find out what Coaster Bot content you enjoy and what you’d like to see more of in the future. It’ll only take a few minutes, we timed it!
